How can we effectively prepare for disasters?
András Majdik from SZTAKI tackled this question in his presentation, “Disaster Is No Game? B-prepared – Realistic Preparation for the Worst-Case Scenarios,” at the Hungarian Informatics Day 2025 conference on 21st January 2025, organized by the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics at Óbuda University.
In 2024, the Multimedia in Education Division of the John von Neumann Computer Science Society organized the 30th International Conference titled “Multimedia in Education” in Budapest, at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. As in the previous years, researchers from HUN-REN SZTAKI also presented at this prestigious conference.
Zsolt Márkus, the leader of B-prepared’s IM-prepared development team, participated as an invited speaker at the interdisciplinary conference of NSKI and the University Centre of Odorheiu Secuiesc on the situation of the Hungarian community in the Carpathian Basin.
The HUN-REN SZTAKI e-Learning Department participated as an exhibitor at the 13th Annual Advisory Forum of the Council of Europe’s Cultural Routes in Visegrád, Hungary, which is the most significant annual professional event for European cultural routes.
