Research Institute for National Strategy is a Hungarian public institution, established in 2013, Located in Budapest. Its mission is to conduct social, economic and environmental research targeting Europe, with special attention to Hungary and the Carpathian-region (Hungary’s neighboring countries). Researchers have a special focus on education, regional economic development, demography and migration, as well as climate adaptation.

 

In addition to its research, cultural and development mission the institution is supporting governmental policymaking and strategic planning.

 

The number of staff and experts are 90-100 (changing according to the needs of projects), who work in a growing network especially in the 5 countries of our macro-region.

 

The institution implemented 8 EU projects so far; aiming at research, cultural, and economic development.

 

It has built a remarkable knowledge-base on the topics of its research and publishes an impressive amount of journal issues, journal articles, and books annually.

 

It also organizes academic essay competitions, art competitions, art exhibitions as well as sports and charity events.

Judit Faragó

My name is Judit Faragó, and I am a project manager at the Research Institute for National Strategy.

I bring my experience in developing and implementing research and innovation projects. I am particularly keen to do so if they have a broad social impact. I’m very happy to work in a consortium with such a wide range of expertise and to gain new knowledge myself. I am sure that our project will help many people to be prepared.

Márton Péti

My name is Márton Péti, I am the vice president of Research Institute for National Strategy, responsible for the research activities at the Institute. I will use my experience in strategic analysis and planning, climate adaptation planning, geographical information system development, and in working with scientific and rescue experts from different European countries. My team brings expertise to the strategic testing of B-prepared developed components, we will work on the recruitment of testers and host the testing procedures.
