EKON Modeling Software Systems Limited (EKON) is a dynamic and innovative software product development and consultancy firm. It develops and provides a unique social, collaborative, knowledge-driven platform (DKM) for small and medium-sized businesses and government institutions to connect employees, customers/citizens and other stakeholders.
DKM: A system designed with dynamic knowledge page creation, virtual spaces sharing and a set of utilities for converting information into ‘operational knowledge’, breaking through knowledge silos to make sense out of the vast amounts of data and providing insight and enhanced understanding of the extensive data.
EKON’s mission is to develop and enable the best user and knowledge-driven architecture of social participation, where service gets better with more users and harnesses collective intelligence.

Founded in 2008, EKON has grown, building a state-of-the-art software architectural experience and a robust engineering approach. It has led software development projects ranging between €1-10 million and proved invaluable for its European customer base. EKON’s approach and development skills are well-respected across multiple areas and industries (ICT, Knowledge Management, Security, Financial, CRM and Call Centres, Government, Education, Insurance, Aerospace and Manufacturing).
I am Espen Kon (BSc, MBA, MA Philosophy) CEO of EKON Modeling Software Systems Limited. I graduated in software engineering in 1990. I also hold an MBA in Finance (2001) and an MA in Philosophy (of Science), Information & Digital Culture from Tel Aviv University (2006). I am currently (2024) completing my MA in Law for non-lawyers at the College of Management Academic Studies.
Over the last two decades, I have worked on software developments for Command and Control (C4I) systems, the development of a Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and project management in large-scale security and safety projects such as the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, Airport security for the World Cup Football 2010 in South Africa, Rails Stations Security and many more.
In January 2008, I established EKON, a software product development and consultancy firm.
